This video is a response to a comment left by a Dogumentary TV viewer. I share with you my personal impression of the Vizsla as a breed both show and hunting dogs.

Thanks so much Zeke! Love this video! I learned my lesson about doing homework on dogs and the breeders. I had a bad experience with a breeder who was inbreeding vizslas. Since then, I head to a dog show and found great breeders. And I ended up with two beautiful vizslas. The breeder even gave me a “guarantee” on my vizsla. Its very important to do research on breeders and dogs. Thanks again Z!

We have a Vizula Boarder Collie mix, he is Smart and Sweet!
He loves to watch Television! He even knows movies by titles !
I'm 52 and have had many dogs in my life and he has been the best, smartest dog I have ever known, hands down !🐾♥️

I have a Vizsla and both of his parents won AKC best in breed in the past and he still has his drive to hunt. I take him quail hunting. Minimal training was needed. He pretty much just knew what to do and I put commands to it. He has show dog qualities but I am not into showing. He’s an amazing dog. A great family companion. However I do not recommend Vizslas to anyone that does not have the time to exercise and train. They have a super high energy that requires vigorous exercise. If exercise needs are not met they will destroy stuff. We were stuck in an ice storm and I could not get him enough running exercise and left alone for an hour, he dug a whole through the middle of a mattress. Foam explosion! They are one of the most empathetic and caring dogs I’ve ever dealt with. He gets along well with my other dog, a working Belgian Malinois but can be a little dominant and mouthy to new dogs. They also whine a lot. But I love him and am so happy we chose to get him. We researched Vizslas and learned all we could before we got him and made sure he would fit our lifestyle. He’s a sweet sweet dog most of the time. Lol

Hi Zeke, I've been trying to search for particular breeds with rear dewclaws can you make one video about it? Also it would be wonderful if you put some personal inputs regarding removal of dewclaw.

The hungarian velcro dog. Very good service dogs. Drew Lynch has his as a service dog. Stella sticks to Drew like glue. Lol. I have met this dogs. They have crazy high energy.

There's one page where there was a big argument over which is faster a Saluki or Vizla. The Saluki owners got cold feet when the Vizla owners challenged them.

Can you please do a video on the Miniature American Shepherd? There is so little information on them and the information that you find always compares them to the Australian shepherds. I know that's where they descended from, but It would be nice to see a video about them in depth that shows them differently from the Australian shepherd. It would also be nice if it showed what kind of sports or activity they can do. I see them on TV doing agility but was wondering if they excel in anything else. Thank you your videos are truly AWESOME!!

Vizslas are justly famous for being super affectionate. My Vizslas have all been incredibly affectionate. They are lively and active dogs, needing a good daily walk. Min have all been from champions, both field and show. You can definitely get both. My current Vizsla has 24 out of 32 Show Champions in her pedigree. AND she has 28 out of 32 Field Champions in her pedigree. At least once a week someone stops me and comments on the utter beauty of my dog; including linemen, garbage men, and sewer workers. It is amazing how these working men comment on it. Note my icon. That is Mint, rest her soul.

Please do a video on Ibizan hounds, I am getting one at the end of the year as there's no videos anywhere on them. We currently have a Vizsla so will be adding our ibizan hound to a household with an already high energy dog.
