Could Republican lawsuits help tip the presidential election in Trump's favor? | DW News

The Republicans have launched scores of lawsuits in swing states in a bid to limit the number of votes that can be counted in Tuesday's US presidential election.

They say it is necessary to prevent election fraud, although official data indicates fraud is extremely rare.

But with polls neck-and-neck between Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump, disqualifying even a small number of ballots could swing the election in Trump's favour.
