Sri Lanka and New Zealand faced each other in the 1st T20I at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. New Zealand batted first and posted 135 runs before getting all out in 19.3 overs. Later, Sri Lanka faced some trouble during the chase but managed to get over the line in the end as they won by 4 wickets.
