ngl sometimes it works well; if you've watched the case study of vanitas, noe begins by saying he killed vanitas with his own two hands, i think at the end of the first episode. it makes you wanna know more because they seemed to get along well, and the more you watch the more you see how great their relationship is and you may forget abt the whole killing thing, and when you remember again it's like the weirdest thing in the world to consider
