Great Review Tom as always...I must admit...Ths current S really looks boss IMO among luxury flagships...This interior makes my friend's 2007 S550 look like something from the 1990s...Amazing how much nicer this interior looks.

I'll have to get my wife to work harder and longer 'cause i'd love to have this in my garage... kidding aside - i agree this is the benchmark - not the 7-series.  

Have you considered doing a series on which car you would put in your garage (i.e.: SUV, Luxury SUV, mid-size, compact, Sports Car under $40K etc ... love your take on this)

Great review Tom, what a (modern) classic. Also interesting how many modern features we now take for granted, even on economy cars, were introduced on the S Class ... seatbelts, airbags, anti-lock brakes, cruise control, etc...

The 2015 S550 has a touch sensitive Cockpit Management and Data (COMAND®) system

I love this class I have three but in reality the thing most people don't get about the S class it's a safe and delightful car is even a 1966 it's a beautiful reliable and comfortable car and one of the few cars that the whole family enjoys writing in so I ask how much is that worth to you how much ?
