Snow Runner Garage Tour - International Transtar 4070A

Hey Gamer's, its back to the pavement with the Transtar 4070A and I have to say, I didn’t think something would be so bad to use that id sell it within 2 hours of trialling it, but what do you think of the Transtar? Agree or Disagree? Let me know in the comments below.

Great series, cool truck. Unfortunately the game doesn't have a place for it right now.
I would love to see some maps with with longer travel distances on paved or gravel roads.
This would reward players that don't always bring the most ridiculous off-road machines.

Sadly there aren't many Transtars if any with the original IH 573 V8.
That engine was replaced by other engines such as Cummins, CAT and Detroit.
But the truck is still loved by many and it's a real treat to be seen.

Alright, I've finally gotten the chance to play the game. I was saving it to play the first time with a friend. Took a bit to get used to the feel of it.
But I've also now driven THIS thing around a few Michigan areas. As I suspected, as long as it's kept on the roads, it's okay. I even managed to bring it on easy mud, with something to weigh down the back for tire traction, and it performs okay. Still haven't driven it everywhere, and haven't unlocked almost anything for it, but so far, I'm not disappointed.
EDIT: Also don't yet have complaints on the Scout 800 either.

Despite all its flaws I absolutely adore this truck. It’s style is classic and the interior is gorgeous. My favourite truck in SnowRunner despite its flaws.

I've use this so much in Alaska slap some chains on her and its pretty good at hauling over the ice roads, one of my trucks in the garage

It's a pity that developers chose licensing this truck. Practically it was a waste of time and resources, since the interior is one of the most detailed I saw in a truck but I'm sure that no one is using it for it's limitations.

The bumper issue!! Find that out the hard way. Like the look. But has no function in the game.

This truck honestly seems more like an easter egg, or a hard-mode, like a couple other vehicles in the previous games could be considered.
It wouldn't be as bad, if there were more... well, tarmac, asphalt and highways in the game.

Also, every time the bumper catches the road and stops the truck, I imagine the driver slamming into the wheel and just calling out "my ribs! Again!"

Let's say I really want to make this truck work since it looks so great. Are there are maps or perhaps repeatable missions that would suit it? Something that can be done mostly on good roads?

After i towed this truck back to my garage i was like.... No diff lock, no awd, well, thats garbage. Thats all the further i got before selling it

CTL9000 is literally better than this horrible truck. But International Transtar 4070A is fine if you want a dedicated, cab-over, short-framed highway truck. But never take it off paved roads. CTL9000 can go off-road but not this one.
