Storytime! My High School Band teacher (RIP Mr. Wills) One day came in and told us about something he heard on NPR. It was about the rising amount cats being diagnosed with Feline Leukemia.

It was out of the blue, none of us were expecting this... we started laughing... He SLAMS his hands on the piano and yells, "FELINE LEUKEMIA IS NOT FUNNY!!"

This of course made us laugh more. Of course, it is not funny but a core memory was made that day.

Good crimes are one of those where you have to embrace the weird about it.

Nicole always tries to fancy it up and bury/run from the food crime and ends up losing the essence of the dish they are trying to worn around.

Josh embraces the weird and keeps it forward in his dish. I’m sure Nicole’s dish tasted good but it also probably didn’t remind anyone of a jello lobster at all.

I grew up with older parents, straight up boomers born in the late forties. I had a lot of dishes like this, from magazines and advertisements. One of them survived and I have learned to make it and continue to do so regularly. It is a travesty called Mexican lasagna. I spiced it up with Doritos and seasoning at least...
