17, my biggest regret was being lazy and not learning to appreciate the present when i still had it. Spent too much time trying to relive the past that, by the time the day ended, that too became another thing to relive.

I’m 14, my biggest regret was not recognizing the signs of a toxic friendship for 3 whole years, they always bullied my sister, they kept me away from my other friends, they tried to make me feel guilty if I did something that upset them, they got mad at me for scheduling my birthday party when I knew they were traveling, they threatened to dox me, and they used me as the subject of jokes. They made fun of my appearance. When I was doing dangerous things to myself they said it was my problem if I was too weak to accept a joke. And yet I still didn’t suspect anything until the end of 8th grade.
