My advice (my way of doing that): You can use the coconut oil just for protection of the nail polish, but just put the soaked cotton ball/pad near your cuticle and slowly move it more up and up untill you get rid of the nail polish. If there is anything left, just take another soaked cotton pad/ball and repeat. Hope this helps. Oil can actually moisturize your skin and could possibly be good for your nails? Idk.
