The Rolls-Royce Enthusiast Club Annual Rally, 2022, held at burleigh house, stamford.
This is a three day event from july 01st -03rd which is described as the largest gathering of rolls royce and bently cars in the world.

At 5.25 it's a Silver Ghost, that happens to have been named The Silver Dawn. It is not a Silver Dawn! The engine has 6 cylinders, not 12.
The RR was changed to black as an aesthetic change, nothing to do with Royce's death.

Suggest swapping the V8 with a Mondeo mk5 2.0l diesel 🤣
They have a myriad of fan belts that get old and squeak.

The badge went from red to black because American customers thought the red enamel resembled the unpopular communist hammer and sickle badge, all of the AJS & AMS chassis Phantom 2s were sold with black badges from 1931, two years before Henry Royce had any thoughts about dying.

watching this convinces me even more that Packards were the greatest cars ever built. On styling alone, this applies. I have never seen an ugly Packard but many of these things are downright ugly. Tha modern ones basically look like everything else on the road and among the oldies, many are also ugly; boxy, dated, ungracious styling.
