Everytime I go threw dark times battling depression and bipolar when I forget to take my meds my emotions are unbearable in darkness it doesn’t help that I endure so much trauma as a kid and into my early 20s ethier but I always turn to god to take the wheel and say god I trust you do what you have to and I will trust you to walk with me in this storm and that he has a plan why I need to go threw that storm. But everytime I put on vids about god or I start to tell god it’s happening again because I skipped out on my meds, it just stops and I feel so happy and loved by god. Sometimes I feel like I’m getting wrapped in some type of blanket that’s so much light and love surrounding me like a barrier. Thank you for this vidoe it helped me so much to reach out to god and be like welp it’s about to get really dark for my mind and I’m gonna need strength and courage to get threw this and that I put my trust in him and all I feel is so much love and light. I honestly feel like god knows what I’ve gone threw with server trauma with my mom passing from cancer at 9 and then my dad at 16 where I had to perform cpr and died in front of me from a heart attack going into family’s getting certain types of abuse and domestic violence by an ex when I was 20 and when I reach out to god weather it’s threw videos of prayer he takes all that suffering away and silences the flashbacks the memory’s and it’s gone not permanently but for a good while. But reaching out to god should be a daily thing. We cant expect perfect results the first time it needs to be honestly reaching out in him asking for forgiveness mine would be for tattoos that I’ve gotten or silly things that I done with friends or family and being petty in immature arguments. Someone told me prayer is like not studying for the nursing exam but passed with As. That just isn’t possible. We have to study over and over to get the A for the exam. It’s the same way with prayer. It may not be like I prayed once and my whole life is perfect it’s just impossible it’s like nothing can be built in a day it takes time to decide when to I let god just take control of the ship of the wheel and when you do that god can be like I can come step in and do what I have to do even tho someone might like the end result it’s what’s best for them or needs to be done for them. That being said a great video and it really uplifted me today when it’s been a rough day. God is love and light always.

Hi father... I am Protestant, but I really love your videos. I binge watched a lot of them in September 2018, just a couple of weeks before my wife left me again. My first marriage is been really difficult and my wife recently served me with papers. Since September, I have been all over the place with my emotions and actions. Amen, Fr. Mike! This message helped me a lot. As a teen, so often I feel like im too weak to be a Catholic Christian, and oftentimes that can lead to doubt and hopelessness. I’m going to stop reading the anti-gospel from now on!
