Turn your hatchback into a mini campervan

I’ve finally got around to showing how we turned a Holden Astra hatchback into a mini campervan big enough to sleep 2 people and have some cool adventures.

Very nice setup! Lots to like about it. I might try something similar.
Have you found a solution for having windows open and still keeping privacy/mozzies away? The sun shade material seems to be great and used by many people but won't work when you need windows open if it's hot and need air flow. I have a black fabric window cover that I got from Kmart for the kids windows, but it would be far from perfect for sleeping in the car. Thanks!

this looks amazing, it's exactly what we've been looking for! How did you bolt the two pieces together in the middle with enough strength? Did you use a bracket underneath? in all our iterations, that's point is the only bit we've struggled to think of a way to keep it strong enough

Very creative, a lot of people who find themselves homeless, wouldn’t have an suv, so this fit out would fit budgets should you find yourself homeless
