Walker is a hot head and a strong dude most people would have dropped back and waited for his first touch, but vidic wasnt one of those that back down

This is why he was such a great defender as look at the transition and turning from blocking/defending to full sprint for the ball which most CB’s won’t do becuase they’d leave it for left back.

Not only the movement but do you see how he didn’t slide early or late he ran all the way to the ball and then put a foot in and got the ball CLEAN while taking the player out the game, left a massive gap for the winger to drive.
