I have watched your videos since I was 14 (I’m 21 now) in that time I have also realised my nonbinary and autistic identities, and it is wonderful to see you discovering these things about yourself. Of course, it’s bittersweet, wondering what your life could have been if you had known as a young person, and also uncovering layer upon layer of mask that has built up over a lifetime of trying to fit in and be what was expected of you to be. It’s also a beautiful process, one of exhaustion and burnout, and of unravelling and discovering and metamorphosing. Sending care and warmth 🪲

Phoebe, I'm happy to see you, but hope you just do what makes you happy most of the time. If it isn't this, don't do it, at least not programmatically. YT isn't supposed to be an onerous chore! Glad you are thriving creatively and enjoying cooking again, and that you have posted this update of what's going on. I've definitely missed you on youtube but can understand that it's hard for you at this time. I can't believe that Merlin is almost 3. I'm 52 and still sleep with a stuffed animal at times 🙂. Both my kids have autism (only diagnosed as young adults) and my eldest is non-binary. Sounds like your day in the city was a big success.
