Video Transcript:
Newer Fitbit devices come with exciting features and functionality, such as Fitbit Pay, Amazon Alexa integration, and more. If you're upgrading to a newer Fitbit device, Fitbit makes it easy to add that device to your existing Fitbit account.

Now let's walk through the steps to add a new Fitbit device to your Fitbit account.

Step 1. Launch the Fitbit app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device. You'll land on the Fitbit Today screen.

Step 2. Tap your profile picture in the upper left corner of the screen. The Account screen is displayed.

Step 3. Tap "Set Up a Device." A screen appears asking you what Fitbit device you're setting up. Tap the name of your device. The setup screen for that device appears.

Step 4. Tap "Set Up" toward the bottom of the screen. The Terms and Conditions screen appears. Tap "Accept" toward the bottom of this screen. A Charge Your Device screen appears. Tap "Next." A Searching screen is displayed. Make sure your Fitbit device is within three feet of the device you're running the Fitbit app on.

Step 5. A Found It screen will briefly appear when your Fitbit is detected, and you'll be prompted to enter the four digits that appear on the front of your Fitbit device in the app. Enter the four digits. The Connect to Wifi screen appears.

Step 6. Tap "Next" on the Connect to Wifi screen. The Choose a Network screen is displayed.

Step 7. Tap to choose the wifi network you want to connect to. Enter the wireless network password on the next screen, and then tap "Connect." A screen appears confirming when your Fitbit device is connected to wifi. Tap "Next" on this screen. You'll be presented with a series of information screens before arriving at the All Set screen.

Step 8. Tap "Done" on the All Set screen. You'll be returned to the Account screen, where you'll now see your device is displayed in this list and shown as connected.

I’m afraid the title to your video was a bit misleading. I’m trying to add a second device to my Fitbit account and it’s asking me to replace my old device which I don’t want to do. My daughter uses my old Fitbit so I can keep up with her sleep. Short story-Bi polar-Dr needs info-bipolars need sleep. She’s 13 and doesn’t have a phone.
I can’t find how to add a second device 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah, but I own more than one fitbit watches, and every time I do this process, it removes one of the watch I had early and set up the recently one. How can I keep two watching in the same account so I don’t have to switch watches and keep doing this process?

I wonder, I run off a tablet (not a phone) can I set up my fit bit and then have 2 others (for a total of 3) on my device, the 2 others being my teenage kids? Anyone know of a video showing that being set up as that is what I searched to find this video...

This must be a very old video because every time I try to add a charger six it tells me that I have to move my account to Google. And I don’t really want to do that because my account is connected to my health insurance so that it automatically syncs.

Hey. I just got my 9 year old a charge 4. When I went to make her an account it said "Oh, you are a minor. You will need an adult to set up an account"
I have done this. Now. It wants me to pair the kid with a kid Ace.
How do I get set up for the Charge 4 to collect the kids data?

She has her own phone and the charge 4 is bluetooth set up to the Charge 4 and she is wearing it.
So far. I dont see any data like heart rate or steps for the day yet.
