9:24. For the pose library to work with thumbnails, set up a CAMERA and VIEW through the camera. Then, save the pose. A pop up in the viewport will appear. Name your pose there, or in the N panel. Colors for the pose are defined in the Workbench render method (assign object color in the properties> viewport color) Awesome video!

Blender and its community is absolutely amazing. It's actually been surprisingly easy to learn. Like, don't get me wrong it's still difficult and there is so much that I don't know anything about - or even know about in the first place. But with just a couple days of watching and following along with tutorial I'm already able to create things. They aren't amazing of course, but I never expected to see results so fast.

If you're having trouble finding the "Create Pose Asset" option in 3D view, its now located in the "Asset" dropdown menu of the Asset Browser. This supposedly updated after Blender 3.5. Curious change if I had to say.

I've been working on a commission animation for a while, and this would have been ENORMOUSLY helpful in the process. I can't wait to see how it will develop with subsequent releases!

I've just discovered that changing the preview of a material in the material properties tab, changes the thumbnail that will be saved in the asset browser, so rather than having a leaf with transparency wrapped around a sphere or having to manually import a thumbnail, you can simply change the preview mesh and use that

I love your animation style. As somebody who was obsessed with stop-motion as a kid, I found your clay shader tutorial fun.

Do you have a tutorial for creating the switches on the right side at @11:06? The shapes that say "blink" and "happy" that control poses

This is going to make 2D animation so much more accessible.

First time I've actually heard someone explain the saving into the asset browser. Now I have something to look forward to in the update. And I really like your style so I'll attempt to be able to learn for free.

I just got the power of the pose library. Not that it's not awesome anyways, but being able to save poses for specific bones, then combining them - this will speed up workflow tremendously.
