Skull Merchant is the most disliked killer in Dead By Daylight and behaviour is finally makes some changes to nerf her, but I doubt this is going to help because she has a very bad reputation in the game. The community may not be ready to give her another shot without a full rework

They didn't nerf the one thing that was actually a problem with her. Being that scan doesn't go away after not being scanned for a while unless you get the bug on your arm.

I actually waited them nerf her to the ground and i can actually play her as a m1 killer at least against humans and not 4 bots. Cuz people leave even when I didn't use power at all

Omg Finally someone says it. People DO just DC against her since they can't get over her reputation. I played a match with her. DIDN'T use her power at all. Got a 4 k and had the lobby complaining about how broken she was.

This truly breaks my heart, before her initial PTB I was really excited for her because of her design, it’s such a shame she released in the state that she did, and people STILL haven’t gotten over it. These changes don’t even address the stuff she really needed, like more skill expression. They took a character and ruined her and guess what, there are so many people that’ll still hate her regardless so untimely these changes screw the people that actually liked her

This is a huge shot in the foot, the drones were a good power for looping and such and using in a chase way instead of a trap way. Making the drones ONLY work as traps and chases will be borderline impossible and will only make her infuriating playstyle even more infuriating. She’s just gone and now more than ever there is no reason to play against her as the only people that will play her now will be the slugging 3 gen camping players that no one likes.

I just hope this complete rework saves her otherwise a really cool killer in concept would have been wasted by poor decision making on BHVR’s part

A BHVR employee said in a Reddit post (and apparently during a stream) that this whole thing is just to clip her wings until her real rework later down the line (apparently somewhere in 2025 according to some rumors) and to make people shut up about her in the meantime (after all, who complains about Freddy now after his nerf back in the day?).
