Edit: The reason is beacause Showa have more and better feats than legendary, as Showa fought Second generation Showa King Ghidorah, that have a destructive power that surpass all other supernova and even after that fight (in Godzilla vs Gigan), Godzilla became more Powerfull (at least, is stated that he became 10 times more powerfull at the end of Zone fghter series).
