still doubts on "stand on"
I tought the important thing is the strongness of the opinion, not the matter involved.
When asked "Where do you stand on this?" I conccluded they expect decisive answer not a vague one.
another thing. can I
"I stand on my first answer." ? it does not look good

Hi, I lived in the USA for about three years and many people ask me if I was French. One huge difficulty I had was understanding American expressions. For example, "Last night's party was off the chain!" So I have a hard time understanding some of the dialogue in the TV series I watch. Could you make a video about the most difficult expressions?
