Here is the dream:
32”/4K/240Hz/OLED/MicroLens tech (for the high peak brightness)/Gsync & Freesync/ Quantum Dot/ HDMI 2.1 and glossy screen. That ladies and gentlemen is “End Game.”

One thing that will be nice about the 21:9 monitor is with Picture In Picture you should be able to run it as a multi-monitor configuration with 2560x1440 on one side of the display and a second image at 880x1440 resolution on the other side, 880 pixels isn't a lot but it definitely is enough to stream Youtube at the same time as playing games.
Of course 5120x2160 would be much more usable in all scenarios and hopefully they start making UHD OLED gaming monitors ASAP.

240Hz OLED is going to give you 4ms of persistence=4 pixels of motion blur when moving at 1000 pixels per second. An object moving at 240 pixels per second would take about 14 seconds to go from left to right on the screen (3440pixels) and that object will look perfectly clear (1 pixel of motion blur). This comment is based on the Blur Busters Law: 1ms of persistence is equal to 1 pixel of motion blur when moving at 1000 pixels per second. The 240Hz OLED has 4ms of persistence (MPRT) as a sample and hold display

There are advantages and disadvantages of curved monitors. Curved perhaps fits your eyes better since every part of the display is the same distance away from your eyes, but it also curves straight lines and shows pictures and content warped. I think it really is pure preference. Personally I just like the straight clean look of flat panels more.

i bought that new curved Samsung QD-OLED G8 / 21:9 Monitor 34 inch . Its much better than my old IPS. Windows 11 HDR Calibration Tool : 250 full frame white and 400 Peak in small white window.

The cyberpunk with ultra details and raytracing on was good for a 60hz screen is the most true shit I heard today. What a game.

The Asus version of the 1440p 27“ is more interesting because it comes with a heatsink. Only potential downside is the included fan that could be noisy, but we‘ll have to wait for reviews to evaluate that.

"As a gamer" I am disappointed that not all TVs are curved. I don't need a tight curve, but especially with Samsung VA LCD those panels should always come with some curve to help eliminate off center brightness shift, and while it's a lot less important with OLED you still at least benefit from a more correct perspective by wrapping the image around a single viewing point.

What exactly that MLA (micro lens array) technology means to us? How does it work/is different than normal panel?

Why you want a 1000nit on a screen so close to you in a low light environment?

Dude, the matte anti reflective layer on the lg monitors are much worse of a problem than the no polarizer qd issue.

Also, that curved lg monitor resolution is awwful.

Just got a LG flex, the 42 inch with variable 20 point flex adjustment if you want a curve. Yes it's expensive, but goes on sale a lot.

Love my G7 1440p curved monitor. It's honestly better than my oled considering everything. The ppi is shit on the 48 inch CX. Push back the 27 inch to a good distance and you get a much better visual experience both because the black levels are better the further you are considering the 1/4 drop off of light (sorry been a while don't remember the scientific principal.

Its true. I dont like using the 42 C2 as PC monitor. Its too big, too flat. Too many issues with dpi scaling as well. A smaller curved display would be perfect, but I just wanted oled. Sigh, wish I waited. I didnt expect we would have such insane oled monitors this quickly.

42 is too big for PC, 45 and 48 are way too big. 27 would be the most sensible but I wouldnt mind something between 32-38 those would be the most ideal big sizes you could go for a desktop. But for now, 27 will probably have to do. At least its oled!

Sadly the ppi is too low for a 45”. Other wise perfect and would bought the screen

So first of all the nits brightness of these monitors are only 200 nits. So this MLA technology reference is misleading.
Secondly this panel is $1700 for a 1440p resolution stretched across 45 inches with only a PPI of 84 for a premium price. Better off sticking with a cheaper oled 4k tv that supports Dolby vision imo.
