Colorism? That trick is racist and she has BEEN racist. This isn’t her first time saying something like this.

Racism and colorist go hand and hand. So bobby stop trying to defend her so hard. She is what she has always been. God revealed it for the world to see.

If you are from outside the US, calling a black person a monkey is always racially driven. No other race gets called a monkey, it’s specifically targeted towards black people, in particular dark skinned black people and its more popular than the N word. It’s Europe’s no1 racial slur and Erica Mena coming from a Spanish speaking culture would definitely understand this.

I have that dame shirt Bobby had on. However, let's be real. Coming from places like NYC or Maimi that has a pretty diverse community. We damn well know that Dominicans and other "lantin x" communities could be the most racist ones. Just because you align yourself with Black culture and even have mixed children, who really don't show much of their Jamaican features. That does not mean you are not prejudiced, or racist.
I have been in plenty of Dominican restaurants or hair salons where they charge you based on your skin type, hair type, where they talk mad isht about you in Spanish. So, I definitely think that ericka went to how she really felt about Black women in that moment, because why wasn't Scrappy or Stevie J a monkey or, her ex-husband for that matter who always showing his axx and embrassing her.

I really don’t understand the comments about her not being racists. She is a racist! Everyone knows that when you call a black person a monkey, it is associated with racism. Also she called black people monkeys multiple times. Stop defending the peoples who have never experienced your skin color and who are also insulting it in some way smh

As a light skin person, seeing other ppl of a lighter shade dismiss colorism just doesnt sit right with me.

The thing about Erica is she had found the formula like Evelynn Lozada to attach themselves to rich black men as a means to come up. Like Erica said in her interview with Carlos she’s a hustler and if you really look at it, it’s a form of hustling. Women like them know exactly what they’re doing and if you pay attention you’ll know exactly how they feel about black women, it’s not as complicated as it’s made to be with the word play.

Thats BS, she couldve called her a blue bish. She already talked about she should've died that was harsh AF. Or she could've said at least my children live with me here. It didn't have to go where it went. And its impossible to not think its racially driven bc she has said it multiple times but ONLY TO BLACK PEOPLE. They have to stop trying to justify disgusting behavior.

What is he talking about? A person can be colorist and racist. Erica has called Black people monkeys multiple times. She knew what she was doing when she called Spice a monkey. Erica probably thought that she wouldn't get fired over it, since she was never cancelled about saying that word until now.

As a brown person (not black) Erica knew what she was doing and how she said it. As a outsider it came off as derogatory and all around gross. She is like Evelyn Lozada (making fun of OG and making monkey sounds and posting), cyn santana (saying that black men cater to latinas). So it’s not a reach to say what she said and how it was said. Find the videos on YouTube.

This is very true if you are of African or Latino descent you know the difference between being colorist and being racist

Most Dominican and puerto ricans are colorist due to their own culture they treat lighter skin ppl better in both cultures which unfortunately is similar in black culture and Caribbean culture.. It makes it hard to call it anything but a person trying to hurt another in what ever ay she thought would cut deepest. Erica is well aware of darker skin women having issues within due to colorism. She was hoping to dig a dagger in that space. Periodt!!

A lot of you need to accept that to be colorist is to be racist. It’s not excusable, regardless of feelings or opinion. Colorism is literally specified racism.

But can’t wait to watch 💛

Keep in mind, we only see what LHHA wants us to see.
Cast doesn’t control what is aired, wtbs EM stated in an interview that the scene did not show Spice banging on the glass and placing her a$$ against the window, which reminded her of a monkey, and Spice also continued talking about her son. IJzS
