When My Holland came home to Vietnam four years ago and established EQuest Asia, she was bombarded with challenge after challenge — from the tedious paperwork she needed to complete to get her business legalized to not knowing who to ask for guidance. But My chose to see these challenges as opportunities, a proof of resilience and optimism that’s innate to the Vietnamese.

In this new Homecoming episode, My shares both the troubles and joys of coming home, and the many misconceptions of working and living in Vietnam.

I am a Vietnamese origin living in Europe. I have to say, this talk has made me feel better! For a while I have been thinking of coming back to Vietnam, but still struggling with the "comparison". It's been somehow "nor good enough in the west, neither good enough in Vietnam" issue. I would love to listen more about this topic, other stories how Vietkieus handled this problem.
