Third song from the A side of Jim's debut album "You Don't Mess Around With Jim" (April 1972). Also recorded at The Hit Factory in NYC on October 11, 1971. Jim on vocals and acoustic guitar (Gibson Dove). My take is just Jim's guitar and vocals.

Recorded using a 2016 Gibson Country Western.
Camera: Canon EOS M100.
Mic: Behringer B-2 Pro thru Apogee Solo.
Mixed with Garage Band.

Wow ...thank you for keeping the music of this GENIUS alive to this day! Jim was taken from us much much much too soon. Maury's contribuition and dedication was the Midas Touch for Jim to be able to soar. I have always loved the music of Jim Croce ever since 1971 when I was only 11 years old. I always thought that he was an underrated performer criminally underrated his songs still resonate with me today and I am 62 years old. Thank you for bringing back those songs! I’m a big fan of Jim and Maury ... There is this song Maury did it’s called ... The edge of your life. It’s not even a Released song I’ve only heard bits and pieces of it . It’s a beautiful song that has this Mystical sound to it

I'm hoping you can help me out. I too am looking for the patches that Jim wore on his jacket. of course I have the CAT patch on front. I just got the Wayne County Sherriff patch on the left sleeve, but I can't figure out what the patch on his right sleeve says. I can't find any video that shows it clearllyl. It looks like Genie something. At first I thought it was bail bonds, or maybe a company that sells lifts? not sure. What are your thoughts???
