Matte all the way!!! Since I sold my Matte 17 macbook pro in 2010 ever since I had antiglare/matte screen protectors on all my macs!!! Now cant wait to upgrade my m1 pro 14 to a new one m4 with matte nano texture! def worth the amazing for your eyes! especially outside or inside with no reflections! amazing indeed

The only downside to the nano texture is the lack of clarity of the text (5:54), which looks sharper on the glossy screen

so far I'm enjoying my 16 pro space black, such a great colour. bought it without Nano Texture Display. until now still curious about it. I might return my standard glass for Nano Texture Display even though I always use my MacBook indoor most of the time

I'm not sure this makes sense but,
- standard glass (HP 100 DEF 70)
- nano texture (HP 90 DEF 100)
- usual matte screen (HP 70 DEF 100)
that being said, while screen quality and reflection is a tradeoff, nano texture is a sweet spot for people who works in a direct sun light condition.

I noticed in an Apple Store that the brightness had to be turned up higher on a nano textured MacBook Pro to match the regular display. I'm wondering now if this means it will drain the battery at a higher rate! Any thoughts on this and does anyone notice any difference?

Stop lying about the nano texture. It’s for people working outside in bright sunlight. For everyone else it’s a downgrade update due to less contrast and dimmer colors
