As a conservative Christian woman, I believe with respect, kindness and compassion we can enjoy and appreciate each other, regardless of our beliefs. It is obvious we have different worldviews, but we take our beliefs with our freedom to the polls. I personally pray about everything and I vote. Mrs. Obama is kind, wise, and lovely. I enjoyed the conversation.

Love what she said about our generation being the first generation of parents raising kids in nuclear families and that not being enough. The support from our community.. grandparents, aunts, uncles are what actually help raise the kids and broaden their perspectives on life, giving each young kid someone to relate to even when their parents weren’t sufficient. The individual’s wisdom does not even begin to compare to the wisdom of a collective whole. I remember my own childhood even when I had friction with my family I had my aunts or one of my cousins to relate to. Relationships are so much healthier that way
