This makes sense, if you are picked and nominated by the province to become a PR, then you are obligated to stay and contribute to the province. Unfortunately, many people may misuse it to go to another province with better opportunities and lifestyles.

No offense most of BD, East Indian and Filipino once they got their nominee program pr which is unfair to the province who sponsored them, they will moved to a richer province AB, BC or ON..my advise is stay in your province until you get your Citizenship..

Pr can be taken away as well if u r unable to satisfy the authorities about yr intentions of staying in the same province who nominated you. If u came through federal system, then its easier but the provincial nomination expects u to stay there. Its ur duty for that province who actually helped u get there, to help in the growth of that province n be a part of it.

The Canadian Charter of Rights speak to the actions of this person. Section 6(2) is limited by 6(3).

I am curious to know if this person is able to renew their PR. I believe they did everything deliberately. 1 week after landing I wasn’t looking to move anywhere. Here they left the province 1 week after they arrived, they had a plan all along IMO. Assuming they had 5yrs before the PR expired, they applied for Citizenship 4.5yr in so that wouldn’t need to renew as they would have had the citizenship. Now that the citizenship is denied, will they renew or just continue living on an expired PR? Is there a follow-up? I just stumbled on your video.

Left 1 week after PR? Of course he/she will get rejected

I know a few people who did this. And they got caught too. Unfortunate but as you have said once they signed something especially canadian gov is so strict, they should honor it.

What this person did is illegal as to why he didn’t get the citizenship. Maybe another lawyer might still be able for him to extend his PR when it renews and maybe just be fined so he gets his citizenship eventually.

My question is, Is it possible to transfer to other provinces even though I do not finish my contract and would it affect my future application for PR and Citizenship? Thank you in advance

When reading i was thinking, what about if landing through pnp and trying 3-4 months have got opportunity from another province. So, he moved there for work purpose while keeping all ties with nominated province (such as health card, driving license, tax file, lease agreement, education)

I think somewhere it says that you should stay for a minimum of 3 years in that Province before moving. Not 100% sure but someone can tell me if it's right.
