Good news for those of you who love your bookmarks! Recently, we introduced visual bookmarks and easy bookmark sharing. Now, we’ve launched another useful feature - the ability to sync bookmarks across computers, phones and tablets, so you can access your web favorites on any device. Bookmark synchronization is available on Opera for computers, Opera Mini and Opera for Android.

To sync your bookmarks and see them across your devices, select Settings from the main menu, and create an Opera account or sign into your existing one.

I re-installed my Opera and signed into my account, I thought all my bookmarks would still be there, but I was very wrong, I had so many important things that I needed, but it's all gone now. I did everything in this and nothing worked.

Nice going, I don't know how to reset the pass phrase, you need to find a way to reset it better. I wish your Opera Browser was like the Opera GX browser.

No it doesn't work at all. When I got a new laptop had to start all over from scratch, had to re-do the entire speed dial, even though I was signed in to sync. My laptop is in for repair, and I'm using a borrowed computer; but still no bookmarks, not speed dial (will have to re-do from scratch again), even though I'm signed into sync. Get with the program Opera! True sync means everything is available across devices; bookmarks and speed dial. And it most definitely does not sync with my android phone. No bookmarks or speed dial sync on the phone. FIX THIS OPERA!

How do you quickly access other bookmars with the mouse? Edge offers the Hub, Chrome shows an "Other Bookmarks" folder on the bookmarks bar. But opera, I can't seem to figure it out and it makes using Opera a slow process.

i forgot my passphrase and its just redirecting me to this intro page.. im stuck !!

it does not work with me too. it keeps tell me that i need to verify my email address and they sent a verification email. but no verification email comes, instead the email i receive tells me that someone logged into my account. it's definitely me, but there is no verification button in the email. sometimes opera sucks seriously.

like so many others, i hit "reset pass phrase" and got this video~ telling me how great synch is, but not allowing me to reset the phrase i just set a few minutes ago. keeps telling my my passphrase is wrong...i must have made a typo when i originally entered it? hence why i usually don't use these features :/

Sync data was encrypted and removed when I clicked the reset sync data because it has no way for typing password around the encrypted data. WTF

Sync is difficult to deploy. This feature makes me wanna vomit. QR code not working on desktop opera, passphrase is of no use even if i set it up on both devices. Not a way to go Opera.

ARG! They refer you to this when you've forgotten/want to change your password. This says nothing about how to change or retrieve your password.

If you touch "Reset Passphrase", your entire data on the Opera server gets erased. Only that in the device remains to be saved on Opera server. So u find no old data earlier saved in Opera account. I

Opera doesn't have to encrypt a sync data. Signing-in is enough for synchronization. Got it ?

I can't view a video using Opera. For some reason the youtube videos won't play in Opera, I keep getting a message that Adobe Flash Player is not installed, I keep installing Flash Player and rebooting Opera and I still can't view a Youtube video (including this one). Any clues?

Now, 4 years later, it still dosnt work - its not synchronizing the (german) "Schnellwahl"
