Trying another Chinese mini Rock Crusher

Running some rock though a 5 ton rock crusher, and a few repairs.

In all of my fifty years in engineering I have never seen a machine of such appalling quality. You had more patience with it than I would have and I’ve worked on some pretty dire equipment in my time. Big kudos for not taking a sledgehammer to it Andrew, after the fifth time unclogging it or restarting the belt when it jammed or stopped, I would have put it back on the trailer and seen it gone.

Wow, that is a masterclass on the power of positivity. How anyone could not just call that thing a total piece of junk, zero out of 5 stars, is amazing. And the patience you had to just keep fixing it so it would run at the very base level. I would have found the closest cliff...

That has a pressure compensated pump. There's something wrong with the compensator or the pump itself. The 500 psi you are seeing is the "standby" pressure. That pump should make more pressure the more load thrown at it hence the pump being "pressure compensated".

Through that whole video I kept saying to myself Gosh I hope he didn't buy that. First thing I noticed was pressure and flow not set right or pump isn't capable of delivering enough of either. Sure glad you didn't buy it Great video as usual Andrew keep em coming

The whole time, I was thinking....what is the common denominator? The hydraulic pump. It's used for all functions, and all functions are weak. 🤷‍♂️

Same here in Canada, Chinese make everything and there is no built in quality. It is so hard to find American or Canadian made products, but when you do, despite it usually costing more, you can immediately see the quality workmanship!
