I totally agree about the need for luggage tie downs and cargo netting to keep occupants safe from flying debris. To me, the Aptera should come standard with a divider between the front seats and the cargo area.

There should be a solid, flip up divider. Retracted it would be flush with floor. Expanded steel sheet or even carbon fiber honeycomb. Or Kevlar.

Thanks for actually picking a topic to fill the 8 minutes rather than just Accelerator fluff. Nothing will prevent heavy things from flying in an accident like that truck test, but cargo nets should be adequate for general driving.

Hello William, I have a cargo net in my pickup for dump runs, works great for that. I can see using one in the Aptera too.

Aptera is not going to spend a lot of time developing accessories for their Launch Edition vehicles

However, they will provide CAD files to 3rd parties who wish to develop for it.

Any net would need ratchets to tighten the net, otherwise it would not be effective
