Chin Tuck and Head Lift

Today I am bringing you one of my favorite exercises! ⁣
A chin tuck head lift (anti-climatic, right?🤣). Now, why is this one of my favorite exercises? Because I think it is so important to control our head alignment to be able to help with the whole rest of the body and everything that is involved. ⁣

I often find when people do this exercise their sternocleidomastoid (SCM) kicks in and it becomes a big bully. We really want to feel this in our deep cervical flexors, not just the SCM. ⁣

OMG, not anti-climactic in the least! I'm trying to correct nearly 6 decades of poor tongue, poor head, poor shoulder blade and shoulder head posture. You'd think my abs' insertion point was the top of my head. I will be doing this!!
