Fixing War Thunder's Top Tier

Last year, I stated that the top tier main battle tanks were more or less balanced, and that the nations lacking behind simply needed more support vehicles. IFVs, light tanks, tank destroyers, vehicles like those. Gaijin "fixed" the issue by adding the Leopard 2A6 to the German tech tree. The Leopard 2A5 was already arguably the strongest main battle tank in the game, ignoring the STRV 122, so the addition of an even more powerful tank threw everything out of balance. The 2A6 means that, effectively, an entirely new generation of tanks has to be added to the game. So I'll be looking at Leopard 2A6 equivalents that could be added, in addition to any support vehicles that could bolster lineups. I'll be covering every nation in the game except for Sweden.

To answer a few questions.

"Why don't you think the Challenger 3 is a good idea."
Because it won't be entering service for years to come. It'd be an extremely bad precedent to add a tank that won't be in service for six years.

"Italy does have MBTs that can be added."
Nothing that would bring them on par with the 2A6. Note I said "2A6 equivalents" specifically, not general top tier MBTs.

"The Dardo uses TOWs, not SPIKEs."
This is correct, I made a mistake. There was a Dardo mockup that had Spikes, but it also had a different turret (HITFIST OWS) and a 30mm cannon. On the bright side, that would make it better suited towards top tier.

"Why didn't you mention the Centauro II."
I was going to mention it originally, but this video was already longer than usual and it's sort of the same problem as the Challenger 3, though obviously not as extreme since it'll be delivered to the Italian army this year.

What top tier really needs is bigger maps. Modern tank armor is designed to stop rounds from some distance away, but the forces close-range brawls of our top tier right now make armor irrelevant. Pretty much everything on a modern tank is meant to be effective at long range. Also I have a suggestion for the British: Maybe the Canadian Leopard 2A6? Obviously that would be a 2A6 equivalent, and Britain has some Canadian vehicles around top tier anyway.

Italy does have an MBT option, but just barely
as far as I know, there was a designing process for a C2 Ariete, but costs caused the program to be cancelled, and some of the features were rolled into an upgrade package for the existing Ariete, one of which was the PSO add-ons
it'd be hell to find and documentation on it, but it is there
