Quill butterfly using foam sheets

Inspired by the art of quilling, I created these butterflies and flowers using simple quilling shapes. This project would a perfect kid project. You can use Elmer's foam glue instead of hot glue to glue the pieces together. You can also insert a stick at the end of body for the butterfly and between a petal for the flower to create a handle for easy holding. Try making these but instead of cutting your strips 1/2 inch, cut them 1/4 inch wide. I hope you like this tutorial and thank you for watching

Materials:
Glue gun or foam adhesive
ruler and craft knife fro cutting the foam
two 2 inch wire
wire cutter
2 strips of 8 x 1/2 inch foam (upper wing)
2 strips of 6 x 1/2 inch foam (lower wing)
1 strip 6 x 1/2 inch foam (head)
3 strip of 3 1/2 x 1/2 inch foam (body segments)

How often do you scrapbook? You have so many great ideas. Do you have a large scraproom?

Hi there, I dedicate one day a week for scrapbooking, usually every Friday night, during this time I call my sister using facetime and we scrap together. Sometime until 3 am. I converted my formal dinning room into a scrapbook. I do not use the formal dinning room since we eat at the kitchen table. M formal room is not that big but it has enough space for my scrapbook items. Thank you for watching my videos. I hope you come back for more.
