Bafang BBSHD Install and Uninstall How To

In this video I show how to uninstall a Bafang BBSH mid drive motor from one bike and transfer it over to another.

KEEP IN MIND: I edited the video to show the install first and the uninstall last starting at the 17:45 minute mark. When I shot the video, I recorded the uninstall first and the install second so some of the clips may seem a bit out of order as a result.

List of tools/supplies:

Park tools bottom bracket wrench (one or the other)
Closed Wrench: Park Tool BBT-9 Bottom Bracket Tool
Hook Spanner: Park Tool (109917) HCW-5 Lock Spanner
Cable cutters: Cal Hawk Tools CPLWC8 7.5" Steel Wire Cutter
Chain missing link opener
Dielectric grease
Bike grease
Thread lock (blue kind NOT THE RED)
Metric set of allen keys/hex keys (2mm up to 10mm)
Screw driver (flat and phillips)
Crescent wrench
Rubber mallet
Zip ties: small, medium, large

Thanks for the video! I'm also doing the same thing as you but i'm struggling during the unistall. My bafang is stuck on my bottom bracket. Any ideas?

Thank you for the vid, quick question have connected motor via USB cable to pc, to modify throttle speed? As I have ordered one for mine.

I like that you toot with your bicycle, since we have that in common I will like to hear your opinion about geting a e bike vs getting a small e motorcycle like super soco tc max? Why you preferred to convert the bicycle instead of a electric motorcycle?

It's funny, Ive checked out at least 20 BBSHD installs (most suck, bad cam angles, etc), and everyone say you gotta brake the chain if you got a front derailer. Not one says just simply cut/break the derailer if your no longer going to use it. lol.
