Thought I’d mention the crying and agitated men at the lighthouse mystery. That wasn’t actually written in the report. It was an embellishment by some American magazine. There was strong winds reported and the men still disappeared mysteriously though.
Edit: I believe it was all the clocks had stopped not just the one but I could be wrong.

I think with the men in the lighthouse they were just fed up with their job, fucked off and wrote about a storm to give people explanation to their disappearance but didn't really think it through that people would check all that shit.

About the missing lighthouse keepers, I think they may have slipped into an alternate dimension somehow. It would explain why they saw a storm when no one else in the area did, and why they disappeared suddenly. IDK how the journal entry could exist, though, unless they slipped back and forth a couple of times, maybe. It is a really interesting story, though..
