♥️
In English, we can love vegan tacos, our golden doodle, Christmas lights, Jeeps, our spouse, and God -- but we call it all "love". The Bible, however, uses FOUR different Greek concepts of love:
♥️
1. storge // affection love
2. philia // friendship love
3. eros // romantic love
4. agape // selfless love
♥️
We dive into each of these on today's podcast, so get ready to nerd out with us for a bit. :)

There a hundreds of words in English for love or rather the intention and attachment which infer "love" so friend, charity, affection and on and on.
In English the word love is hard in its meaning or has become hard and has infered on to it a finite meaning, and is placed simply or complexly as a pre-emotion to that which is objectified. Making love a projection from the self onto that which is objectified.
This partly is due the langauge structure itself, as such gives us in a pattern of thinking of self and everything else.
But love is really that which makes up the self, it is part of who you are.
Look at the list at the begining of the video everything listed was what made up who they are individually and combined and yet it was what they love!

So where it says "love your enemies as yourself!" this notion in English is an oximoron yet when you can see and grasp the context of the statement and do a thought experiment then the enemy is the self, and your enemy is truly your friend unrealised!
