The 30th Anniversary for PlayStation is fast approaching and Sony did decide to celebrate by offering a PS5 Slim, Pro, PlayStation Portal, DualSense, and DualSense Edge with the iconic gray colorway. And they are unbelievably gorgeous. Today I'm unboxing the PS5 Slim, DualSense, and the DualSense Edge. So we can BASQUE in the nostalgia. Just you and me chit chatting about PlayStation hardware, and soaking it all in. Not much else to it folks, let's just appreciate the joy these past 30 years has brought us. Aaaaah the financial liabilities.

Oh I just noticed an interesting thing. The boxes in USA all have Grey colored sides (the dualsense boxes, the PS5 and the portal) but in Europe we have them with Yellow sides (my Edge has it in yellow and I've looked at other unboxings on youtube from europe and they were all yellow). It seems that Sony replicated the original boxes for all regions. Japan has a different design as well because their original was different from the USA and Europe ones.

I was so disappointed that the posters come folded instead of rolled. It's especially bad with the darker poster designs, the creases absolutely ruin any point of displaying them

I was lucky to get the 30th Anniversary Dualsense even though I had to "wait in line" on PS Direct for nearly an hour while being at work! Glad that you got the console and the controllers, you have a beautiful display cabinet too! Have a nice weekend ✌😁

In regards to the folded poster, I work in the photo framing industry, see if you can find a custom framer that has what is known as a vacuum heat press, it's the best way to mount then frame anything that has been folded. It does a lot of heavy lifting at "removing" and making creases less visible.

I'm quite gutted that they only did a limited run rather than 'made to order' for a week or so. Firstly they would've made a lot more money and secondly not everyone was able to get a hold of anything due to work or whatever to order one.

The whole thing is perfect for scalpers to no one else's benefit.

Got mine plus an Edge and an extra Dualsense. I'm actually going to use mine as a daily driver, I just hope it lasts for many years because I'll be heartbroken if we discover the average lifetime of the slim isn't all that great. Keep the dust out everybody!

I waited four years for Sony to put those iconic green/red/blue/pink colours back on the face buttons and they look just as beautiful as ever. (I also liberated L3 + R3 from the thumbsticks and remapped them to the magnetic back buttons.)

Yea I already have multiple Dualsense controllers but that did not stop me from opening my 30th Anniversary Edition PS5 Dualsense I want to actually use it not just stare at the box.
