Alpha particle = helium nucleus
Beta particle = high energy electron
Gamma Ray = EM radiation
Phew = Dr Atkinson says he will achieve safe fusion in 20 years time.

I am in high school but i am pretty sure that mass cannot be converted to energy as we Interpret the equation E=mc^2. I mean even after the fission, you still have the same amount of particles you started with. correct me if i´m wrong.
