Thank you for bringing this method to the attention of the crazy cleaning community! I have vacation rentals and do this already. I find that warming my oven for a few minutes helps to soften some of the gunk on the glass for easier scraping

Warm oven on 170 for a bit ( peels like an orange)

I use a razor blade & rubbing alcohol on mirrors and nasty glass. It works the best!
