Professionalization of women's football - Webinar

In the past few years, women's football has witnessed increased popularity and the players are finally starting to be recognized the way they should have been a long time ago. However, there are still many challenges to be faced and professionalization of the game at all levels is one of them. During this webinar, we will hear from key leaders in the industry, Camila Garcia, Director of the National Association of Women Football Players of Chile and part of FIFPro´s World Players Union, joined by Karin Sendel, Chairman of Israeli Women´s Football Players Union & moderated by Jaime Dominguez, Chief Marketing Officer at World Football Summit.
Biography:
Camila García is the Vice President of FIFPro / Director of the Chilean Women´s Football Players Association and a Member of FIFPro's Executive Committee since 2017, being the first woman in the Americas in the position. She was a member of the Organizing Committee of the South American and Parasuramerican Games in 2014, and on the field a former player of Audax Italiano and Universidad de Chile. Education wise, she graduated from the University Diego Portales with a Degree in Political Science and later received her Master in International Studies from University of Chile. She is also a candidate for the Master in Global Policy, Johns Hopkins University.
Additionally, she is the Science, Innovation and Technology Officer at the Embassy of Chile in the United States and served as an advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Karin Sendel is Chairperson of the Football Player Organization in Israel, an NGO protecting and maintaining the rights of the players as employees of their clubs. She is the first woman in Israel to ever hold this position, and the second worldwide. In September 2021 she was selected to serve on the European and Global board of the Football Players Organizations.
Formerly, she served as a captain of the Israel national team. ten-time league champion, eight time Israeli Cup Winner. Inspired by the US women's football national team fight for pay equity, Karin led a historic battle for equal conditions and pay for the women's national team of Israel in 2021.

From an education perspective, he completed the MBA from IE Business School as well as the Master in Internet Business (MIB) at ISDI.
He is currently the CMO at World Football Summit where he leads all the marketing & communications initiatives aimed at generating revenue growth.
