This talk explores the concept of ethics and classroom teachers. Kate draws out some of the fundamentals of what it means to educate others.

There is now lots of guidance about what ethical leadership in education means and I have been exploring what it means to be an ethical teacher in the classroom. Do teachers recognise and acknowledge their own ethical values that they bring into their classroom every day? What ethical values do teachers use to guide their own daily practice and how does it affect their decision making? Are their opportunities for teachers to discuss their own ethical views with other colleagues and discuss the similarities and differences between approaches and views?
