I hope you guys enjoy today's real world review of the Tamron SP 35mm f1.4 at an outdoor portrait photoshoot on the Canon 5Dmkiv and Canon EOS R. Just purchased this lens last week. And OMG! I’m in love with it! I would agree that f/2 has been the most impressive aperture in terms of sharpness. But I also really enjoy the paper thin focal plain I can achieve at f/1.4 for artistic effects. This lens blows all my other lenses out of the park when it comes to indoor low light shooting. It’s also a fun lens for street photography. Colors come out very true and vibrant. I feel like my post processing is so minimal when I’m using this lens. I debated spending the money, but I’m glad I did. Such a joy to use! Worth every penny!

Wow!!! Top-notch production quality, good editing, superb audio in this video. I am impressed. I am a bit of a Tamron fan, but I have overlooked the 35mm 1.4 until now. It looks like an incredible lens. The shots in this video could not be better. No weird distortion, no weird bokeh blobs. No strange contrast business in the background. No color fringing. No chromatic aberration. The shots are exceptional. I will eventually purchase the Canon R5 when its released and I'll use an adapter for this 35MM when I buy it. I sure hope this After Coronavirus life will allow me to travel and see beautiful places to photograph with this lens!

I bought Tamron 35mm f1.4 Nikon mount this January and I'm absolutely loving it. It's tac sharp at f/1.4 and focuses quickly without making any noise. Love it!

I was blown away by the build quality and sharpness of my Tamron 15-30. It was my first 3rd party lens, but now I am sold on Tamron. My next lens will be this 35mm.

Love your videos, I use the Canon 35 f/2.0 IS and really enjoy the sharp images taken at slow shutter speeds with IS, I don't have to bump up the ISO to get hand hold-able images. On the other hand, I love the look of f/1.4 and yes I think 1 f/stop makes a difference and this video reveals the quaility to the Tamron 35 f/1.4 @ f/1.4. Before buying my Canon lens I tried out a used Sigma 35 f/1.4 and it had issues with back focus and I was told in the store that that is typical of Sigma but the Tamron seems much better in this regard. Thank You!

Honestly this lense is amazing. You need to try it with backlit sun and you will notice how amazing it truly it is. It has ranked the best 35mm on the market. Ranked higher than first party! I am so happy I got this lense on release day!

I bought this Tamron 35 1.4 lens and also the 24-70 2.8 g2 and the 45 1.8 g2...love them on my D850 and D500. Tamron is stepping up their game

I purchased it a couple months ago. I have no scientific proof of it being sharper but it just pops. Also, you can’t beat Canon color. Your portraits are really strong in this one. 👏🏼🤘🏼

I love my tamron lenses! I have the 35 1.4 and it’s become one of my favorites! You should try the 85 1.8 it’s absolutely phenomenal! I got rid of my Nikkor lenses and have switched to Tamron! Great video! 👏💖
