In this tutorial we will continue to implement push notifications in a React Native application built with Expo. Though we will do it for the development and production build. We will also build both iOS and Android apps and install them on the phones to test the push notifications functionality.

Will you please make a video of expo push notifications using backend as well ....mine is working in expo go but in apk i get notifications but it doesn't redirect to the screen which meant to be

I was working on a project and I did the same steps. Last week I got an email from Expo saying that the legacy version of the FCM (that you just enabled in this video @10:00) is going to be obsolete by June 20th this year and that all developers MUST migrate to the FCM HTTP v1 API. I was looking for the newest videos for that matter (that is how I found your video) but sadly you are using the soon to be obsolete version of FCM. I took the time to inform you and any of your viewers of the matter, please make a new video showing the steps to migrate (check your email expo SHOULD have emailed you the steps to migrate, I got mine 2 days ago)

i thing you missed this content from push notification, in depth push notification to make an action buttons text inputs, mark as read or some other options this is big challenge to create at react native or expo-push-notifications
