This is the first cvt transmission I tried that doesn’t feel like a cvt. In sport mode it really feels like a true 10 speeds transmission. Usually cvt’s with simulated gear change are sluggish but not this one.

I love the 2nd to 5th CVT fake shifting it’s like is vrooming up and down with the revs😂 nice video by the way!

This car is slightly faster after the Break-in Period

8 seconds… that’s good enough, big step up for the older gens

Hold up...does that say 9 km on the odometer?! Hasn't even passed the break in period, R.I.P. to that motor.

Please, Is the transmission slipping?
Why does the rpm shoot up to 2k before you even start moving?
Is this normal for cvt transmission?
Thank you

I be honest with you, I love my 1.8 in my slightly older Corolla more than this engine, mostly a matter of simplicity and reliability, plus I feel the new Corolla is sluggish.

Bruh I just don’t like the fact that this car is still slow even as an economy car. 😔

This dashboard is so poor, reminds me the Kia Picanto 2006, or another very cheap and old car...what a miss Toyota
