Almost Save same thing happened to me my phone was acting weird will only work with with plug in. I took it to apple and I had apple warranty and they charged me no cost for a whole new phone. That made me get apple care 😂😅.

OK I’ve been having AppleCare+ with theft and loss prevention and I never personally needed to use it. but what I’m guessing and how I’m understanding it is on the website under accidental damages or cosmetic damages it’s like $30 for a screen or back glass replacement compared to hundreds of dollars that you will be paying if you didn’t have AppleCare. but there’s a 3rd option that cost $99 and it says others which means like the housing or anything that is not the screen or back glass and basically they will either replace your phone and give you a new one most likely because it's a struggle to swap housings because you would have to have all new things or reprogram everything to be tied to that motherboard so I’m pretty sure you basically just got a whole new iPhone from their stock or storage. Because if you just wanted your back glass replaced, they will just replace it because you could just do that but if you want the housing, they will have to redo everything and it would not be worth it for them so they’ll probably just refurbished your iPhone and just give you a new one.

So $29 is for the screen if it breaks. If the back breaks it’s $99 because the whole phone gets replaced usually. Not really sus…just the way apple care works

I just cracked the back of my iPhone 12 Pro Max will they still replace this! I thought they discontinued the production of that model of iPhone! I thankfully have Apple + so hopefully I’ll get mine fixed same day at the Apple store! $29 is so much better than $99

Apple care is insurance, insurance companies only make money when profit and loss is worth it, it wouldnt make sense to buy this kinda of insurance cuz You still have to pay deductible, so no. This makes sense when the thing you’re insuring, such as a home or car, is so expensive that a typical owner couldn’t hope to replace the loss. But this isn’t typically true of an iPhone or Mac.

Im really looking forward to getting the iPhone 14 event in few weeks, I’ve decided to get the smaller 6.1 inch with iPhone 14 pro graphite 512GB, I really enjoyed the 6.7 inch iPhone 13 pro max but I miss using my phone with one hand like with the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 11 📱😆
