The end part with tails teasing sonic, gave me this great idea that you can use.

Tails is going full, maniacal over-the-top, villain.
And then sonic just reaches into a pouch, pulls out of tin of mints, which stops tails monologuing.
Then sonic just opens the tin pulls out a single mint,
And tosses it to the side with a bored look on his face the whole time.

And once it hits the ground, tails does an adorable little fox jump at the mint.

Meanwhile, sonic is just thinking:
“he does this about once a month with every new invention of his.”
