We tend to settle for good enough rather than strive for optimal. We're judged as successful men by our occupation, material possessions and wealth rather than our strength of character, morals and convictions. Also, too many boys are growing up without a male role model in their lives and lacking rights of passage into manhood. As a result, many end up as grown men without purpose or direction and become trapped in a humdrum existence.
