We were most impressed with Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges.
A great water ride, the best we've ever been on, and all 4 of us were absolutely drenched, even our underwear!!!

I was glad to see that Universal had done some work on River Adventure lately (was there start of August). It was in an absolutely horrible condition last year (tons of dinos missing or not working). Genuinely was surprised how bad it was... so much so that I nearly avoided it this year. Honestly, it was best I've seen it in years.

Kali is just such a waste of time. Every time I'm on it, I think back to how much of the ride was cut during development. It's essentially a third of what was initially planed. It's ridiculously short. It's the seven dwarfs (without the cute animatronics) of water rides.

Great video. I first visited IOA during opening week 1999. 25 years later it's sad to see JP River Adventure and Ripsaw Falls in a state of disrepair. I hope once Epic Universe is open Universal will show those rides some much needed TLC.

I would have loved to see The Shadow Man, before the drop instead of Mama Oldie, on the Tiana Ride. I didn’t quite understand the storyline, other than Tiana is throwing a party and looking for others to join. 😊

Always great to wake up to another Frugal Brit video! We don't usually do the water rides. I always want to, but I hate walking around in wet clothes. Splash Mountain wasn't bad and I have done a few others, but the river type rides weren't ones I ever rode. I suppose someday on a multi-day trip I should just set aside part of a day to just ride all the water stuff in a given park and then go back to the hotel and change.

I haven't ridden Tiana's Bayou Adventure yet (although plan on it in Oct when I return) but when it was Splash Mountain I got bloody soaked on the front, more so than Kali, but no where near as much as Popeye's and Dudley's 😅
