FFXIV- Basic Black Mage Endwalker AoE Rotation

Just a quick video for anyone who might be a little confused as to what the AoE rotation is now. And yes its very weird having Fire 2 and Blizzard 2 on your hotbar lol

If you don't have manafont up, it's beneficial to toss a second high fire II after the first, so you stay longer in fire phase and don't "waste" the umbral heart. And since enhanced flare's base potency after it's first target is only 12 higher than high fire II, it's still a gain using it with triple cast.
So you go into fire phase with a high fire II, then you use HF II again for enhanced flare, triple cast, HF II Flare Flare, repeat.

Also, while the opener of high blizz II into thunder IV is correct, when refreshing into umbral ice, it is better to freeze after high blizz II instead, since mana ticks are a pain and sometimes can clip your gcd, or delay your thunder cast by a second or two. This, however, doesn't matter if you have a thundercloud proc.

You can drop a potion after manafont to go for another cast of flare and then instantly hit foul after that... if you do not have a polyglot you can go for the new ability giving you one.

If you do not have either, it is more effective to go for a flare after high fire II and instantly swiftcast into another and then return the rotation.

Wouldn't it be better to Sharpcast before Ley Lines and after the first Thundercloud proc? Also, using Triplecast after a short Fire 3 shaves off a bit of time on High Fire 2 and doesn't cut into GCD as much before the first Flare, then Swiftcast can be used to extend Triplecast for the 3rd flare after Manafont

Sharpcast (countdown) > Ley Lines at 9s left on buff > High Blizzard 2 > Freeze > Thunder 4 > Thunder 4 (TC) ^ Sharpcast > High Fire 2 ^ Triplecast > High Fire 2 ^ Swiftcast > Flare > Flare ^ Manafont > Flare

If at any point you get Thundercloud or swap stances, use Sharpcast again until you run out, and when going to Astral Fire the second time, Triplecast can be used again for HF2 and Flares

Hit 82 today and looked up how to use my new skills. This popped up and I noticed were in the same FC lol

You can actually fit in three Fire II before the Flares. First one is free from being in ice phase, the other two use 1 of your Umbral Hearts, leaving you with 7k mana and 1 Umbral heart left.

First flare gets reduced mana cost from that last Umbral Heart, allowing enough Mana to cast a second Flare, draining the rest. Manafont for the third flare, Pot for a 4th.

Since either way you use up all your mana by the second Flare, may as well get one extra Fire II in for that little bit of extra damage.
