It’s hard to beat the delta pro
Gen 1 at current sales prices ($2199). You can’t really diy it with matching specs.

The noise is not that bad actually. It’s not like you charge it at full capacity or run high inverter loads non stop.

I know the 240v from the new model is tempting. Personally I have not used 240v in 30 years. It’s important to have the feature in the lineup, but it’s not a buying decision for me.

The higher solar input is nice. 1600 watt is plenty for me though.

What up Doe Mr Everyday!?

Very good info and comparison of two awesome devices the DP&DP3...

I think the Delta series from Ecoflow changed the game in portable and home backup systems over the last several years!!

Thanks for all the great vids 👍🏽

Hi Scott, my fridge pulls 400-430W from the Delta Pro (original) and then stops as tho it decided it's not compatible with the compressor (LG' s "linear compressor"). My freezers also don't seem to like the Delta Pro 20A outputs. Any idea why this is?

Can the Delta Pro 3 connect to the Delta Pro Battery — or do you need to use the Delta Pro 3 “stack on” batteries?

What kind of panels and connections did you use to get that fantastic 2350W solar input at the beginning of the video? I'm ordering an EcoFlow DP3 and the suggestions that EcoFlow is giving me are 3 400W portable panel on the HV port and 1 400W portable panel on the LV port. That's only 1600W, nowhere near what you're getting! Thanks for the great video!

Hello! I am very new to solar, and don't know where to get started. I want a simple system to run my swamp cooler, also called an evaporator cooler 24/7.

It uses 300 Watts, but at some point I might upgrade it for a 450 Watt version. So I want a setup to run 450 Watts, 24/7.

How would I do that? What kind of solar panels do I need? Can it be any brand? Do I just double what I need? So 900 Watts of panels would run it? Or do I need a big buffer? Is it easy to set something up like this?

Do I need an eco flow or delta setup to run my cooler 24/7? What size would I need to run my cooler overnight?

Sorry for all the questions, I don't know what to do. But my cooler is costing me $140 per month at $0.65/KWh, and my total bill regularly goes over $500. So just getting the cooler on a panel setup would greatly help. Thanks!

I’ve got a question. I bought a delta pro with the transfer switch combo. I’d like to upgrade to the DP3 but I’m not sure how I’d connect it to the transfer switch I already have installed. I connect the transfer switch with the 30A 120V off of the DP. How would I go about connecting a DP3 to the transfer switch if I upgraded.

Bonjour, thank you for the video. I live in Canada and solar energy is not viable for me. Would need to link the battery to an external combustion generator outside of my house. Question: would need a long cable (20 feet) to link the Delta pro situated in my basement close to the electric panel) to a generator outside (would need to open a window for this). Does such a cable exists? Merci à l'avance pour ta réponse.

I keep asking this question but maybe you're my guy. I have no interest in solar but I'd like to have a nice backup battery until i can get off work and start my generators. Can the original Delta pro be wall charged at 1500 watts while outputting 3600 watts?

I'd really love to see someone that has 2 Delta Pro's with the dual voltage hub, and if it can run a central air conditioner for any length of time. I guess the same thing goes if anybody has done this with an Ultra. I mean.. with sales you can now get 2 Delta Pro's with the hub for under $4500.

im trying to decide between delta pro 3 & a refurbished pro. it's a $1000 difference. I live in a smallish 1 bed rental townhouse but want a set up to run a portable AC to save money on my bill since AC is what costs the most. Its 122 degrees here in Las Vegas. Mainly I want a back up plan for when the power goes out. Should I save $1K and get the older pro version? is the $1000 worth it for the pro 3 for my situation?
