I think there's a difference between outscaling and winning 1v1 lategame

Scaling is a straight up numbers thing. No skill involved with scaling. It's "My champion gets more stats per level than yours" or "My champs ratios are higher than yours". Beating an opponent in a 1v1 is not outscaling, it's outskilling.

Edit: a lot of you seem to lack critical thinking and latched on to my singular example without rubbing two braincells together to think past it. The fact of the matter is, Kayn is not the hardest scaling champion in the game. Point blank period. That title belongs to someone like Kayle, Vlad, Vayne, Kog, Jinx or Kindred. There is more than one factor when it comes to scaling, I chose AD as an example because we were talking about lethality red Kayn. We can sit here and talk about scaling in a vacuum all fucking day, but at the end of the road, your skill as a player, and the skill of your teammates, is more important than scaling.

Kassadin stopped scaling seasons ago lol. One of the worst champs in the game for sure. İdk why they do not give him some kind of mini rework. He is only viable when ceartain items are broken that he can abuse

I don't think it's a hot take.. everyone who thinks otherwise is just bad at the game.. how can an assassin out scale a brawler.? Brawlers should out scale assassins.. if assassins out scale brawlers then something is wrong with balancing.. assassins should be able to kill in one go.. brawlers and tanks should be tanky enough not to get one shot.. brawlers and tanks should benefit more in longer fights while assassins should benefit more in shorter run and gun style.. if anything goes beyond these standards then something is wrong with the balancing.. that's why some characters have toxic iterations.. easiest example is lethality Aatrox.. the guy can one/two shot enemies but still has his innate brawler kit of being tanky and benefitting in longer fights.. another example is brawler Talon, back when he is meta in jungle.. he can one shot you because of his high damage even when building tanky brawler items like black cleaver.. makes him survive engagements he should've died in while still being able to one shot enemies..

This isn't a hot take kassadin isn't even a late game scaling champ anymore the only thing kass can do is get to lvl 11 with malignance and hope the game ends
